Our client which has a well-known international brand and a strong appetite for growth is investing heavily in growing the Customer Analytics function. This role is designed to further elevate the impact of the function by delivering fact-based understanding, insights and actionable recommendations in support of their digital commerce and marketing strategy. This individual must bring practical experience and a deep background in digital marketing into an exciting role with significant “white space” growth opportunity.

To accomplish this, this Digital Analytics Manager will work with management teams in enhancing the understanding of consumer behavior and the optimization of the digital platform. The incumbent will be passionate about using data to solve complex business problems, skillfully providing actionable insights and recommended solutions to a variety of audiences.

The successful candidate for this position must be able to:   (1) think analytically in solving business problems; (2) identify, source and validate the specific data that must be analyzed to solve these problems; and (3) have the required technical and communication skills to create the reports, interpret the results, and communicate effectively with senior leadership to help formulate strategy and solutions.

Job Functions:


  • Business Accumen: Partner with senior leaders to understand reporting and analytic needs. Provide analytic support on specific business issues, identifying insights that assist senior leaders in strategy development and tactical decision making. Develop strong working relationships with marketing, IT and external partners.
  • Site Tagging and Implementation: Validate the data in our reporting and analytic systems is accurate. Recommend and build specifications for ‘fixes’ to any issues. Proactively look for new data elements to collect.
  • Digital Customer Insight: Develop a deeper understanding of the customer, their patterns and behavior within the digital space. Deliver business impacting insights that drive desktop and mobile app performance, continuous optimization of the user experience, and marketing initiatives.
  • Testing: Design valid test plans for all A/B website testing including usability, site optimization and personalization.   Deliver analytic results with recommendations.
  • Personalization: Collaborate closely with product owners, marketing and loyalty teams to support and measure personalization efforts across the digital platform.
  • Marketing Measurement and ROI: Support digital marketing effectiveness measurement. Create impactful dashboards and new reporting to support team’s decision making process. Provide ongoing recommendations for future campaign strategies that can be utilized to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing investments.
  • Digital Health: Monitor the health of website and provide recommendations for improved performance.
  • Communication and Influence: Outwardly communicate the things that matter. Create and deliver insightful presentations that summarize complex analyses and inform business decisions. Speak comfortably about analytics to non-technical audiences. Be a “data evangelist”.




  • Bachelor’s Degree required with Major(s) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or other quantitative discipline preferred. MBA a plus.


Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a digital analytics role
  • 3+ years experience with Adobe Analytics, eg. A/B test design, tagging implementation
  • Initiative and ability to successfully work independently or under limited supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong process and procedure development with the ability to implement efficiencies
  • Must be curious, with a passion for understanding consumer behavior
