Our client, a major CPG company in a heavily promoted category that is growing at a fast rate, is seeking a Manager of Strategic Revenue Management.   In this role, the Manager will help to maximize profitable revenue while ensuring competitiveness in the market place.   This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building processes from scratch and wants to make an impact in a high visibility role!

Responsibilities include:

•  Develop and execute pricing and promotional strategy (ex., pack/ price architecture strategy)   across the portfolio, channels, and customers to maximize sales and profit
•  Propose short-term pricing recommendations that are grounded in analytical rigor driving value creation and delivery
•  Provide actionable insights relative to pricing dynamics in the marketplace
•  Perform pre and post evaluation to assess pricing actions’ effectiveness

Ideal candidate will have:

•  Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience in Marketing/Sales Analysis, and/or Sales/Brand Finance within a CPG consumable products organization
•  Relevant pricing and analytics experience strongly preferred
•  Advanced Excel modeling skills required
•  Demonstrated experience working with very large sets of data and constructing complex models; ability to draw actionable insights from the data
•  Strong quantitative and analytical skills
•  Experience with price-pack architecture
•  Knowledge of syndicated data (IRI & Nielsen)
•  Familiarity with Food, Drug, Mass customer base and working knowledge of retail merchandising and in store execution tactics preferred
•  Ability to create efficient infrastructure/processes and reporting analytics where none existed
