Our client, a well-known leading consumer goods manufacturer is seeking a NAM – Walmart for its growing, collaborative team.   This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, adaptable, creative leader with solid analytical skills!

Responsibilities include:

•  Strengthen existing relationships, grow new business, and maintain frequent contact with retailer partners
•  Analyze customer demand, sales volumes, current and future trends, and own the S&OP process for assigned categories
•  Develop creative ways to sell products through the use of various data sources
•  Strategize and recommend promotional plans which meet specific customer needs and company sales goals
•  Prepare merchandising, advertising and assortment proposals
•  Create a cooperative atmosphere between the company and customer, resulting in programs that benefit both
•  Forecast projected monthly and annual shipments accurately to maintain customer and company inventories
•  Prepare monthly sales reports analyzing marketplace trends, retail sales, individual account trends and competitive activity

Ideal candidates will have:

•  5-10 years of relevant sales experience in a consumer products organization
•  Recent relevant experience selling to Walmart
•  Demonstrated ability to identify white space opportunities and develop new ideas/products that meet customer needs and contributes to sales growth
•  Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize data for various audiences
•  Broad business acumen and exceptional presentation skills
•  Ability to negotiate and influence
