Our client, a fast-growing, entrepreneurial consumer goods company, has an innovative, “better for you” product line, which uses natural ingredients and sustainable packaging to create products that are safer for people and the environment. They are seeking a National Account Manager who will help support the company’s next phase of hyper growth. The NAM will manage and grow national accounts and identify new accounts. Responsibilities include

• Execute go-to-market strategy including long term customer growth strategies
• Negotiate pricing strategy with retailers
• Open new accounts with persistency and contingency planning
• Partner with distributors such as KEHE and UNFI

Ideal candidates will have

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant sales experience with key retailers in FDM+ channels. Preference for experience with Target, natural, or grocery channel
• Demonstrated track record opening new accounts and managing existing business for high growth
• Better for You / Healthy living brand scaling experience
• Experience working with both broker and distributor networks
• Joint business planning and line review presentation experience with customers
• Strong presentation skills, can tell a brand story
• Experience in scaling healthy living/better for you brands is a plus
