The Brand Manager will play a vital role in in driving the continued growth and explosive momentum of the Quest brand. This individual will collaborate with some of the most talented individuals in the industry to develop disruptive innovation – from concept to launch. The Brand Manager will help shape the future of Quest by leading the thinking on how to drive breakthrough awareness and household penetration growth utilizing their business acumen, agility and determination to influence key stakeholders and drive category-leading business growth.


• Lead development of new products from conception to launch – Includes driving a cross-functional team on formulation, product feasibility validation, packaging development and sales execution; Present and gain alignment from Senior Leadership through Stage Gate process
• Lead creative ideation, validation and product development on new products and platforms to create growth opportunities
• Work with Creative team and external agencies to create unified messaging and equity across all brand touchpoints; Develop and update packaging and graphics, influencing brand architecture.
• Drive brand development and execution of the strategic plan by providing appropriate category/consumer/competitive insights and analysis, and by managing key issues and projects in support of the business objectives
• Identify, evaluate and prioritize growth opportunities in partnership with cross-functional teams; Lead in assessing opportunity feasibility and developing go-to-market launch plan
• Manage portfolio strategy, business case assessment and monthly business reporting
• Lead planning and execution of shopper and consumer marketing campaigns/activities
• Develop and manage marketing budget, product P&Ls and monitor ROI on all marketing spend; Utilize and leverage data to make informed decisions regarding marketing investments and priorities
• Coach and mentor junior team members to develop brand marketing capabilities and drive the culture
• Conduct special projects, analysis, trackers and assignments, as required
• Participate in all other miscellaneous SMPL and departmental tasks, as required
• Attend departmental/cross-functional meetings


• Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills to interact with Executives and team leads at all levels
• Strong analytical background; Ability to leverage multiple data sources to craft concise and compelling narratives
• Knowledge of syndicated data services, such as: IRI and/or Nielsen (IRI, preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel PowerPoint and Word
• Deep understanding of how to interpret and build models from syndicated data
• Ability to manage projects simultaneously; Adjust to changing priorities; Drive strategic projects to successful delivery
• Comfortability working in an entrepreneurial environment that requires a solution-oriented mindset


• BS/BA degree, required; MBA, preferred.
• Minimum 6 years Marketing experience with 2 to 3 years in Brand Management and/or Product Innovation
• CPG / Food Industry experience, preferred
• Experience leading cross-functional teams
• Experience driving and launching new innovation from concept through release
• Experience working with an agency to develop marketing plans
• Experience analyzing data to uncover insights and provide recommendations, highly preferred
• Travel is required (25%), up to 40%, as needed ** Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment and may be stressful at times. Work may require sitting for long periods of time; requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and fax machine and scanner.

The health, satisfaction and well-being of our employees are important to us and an integral part of our organization’s goals. In this spirit, we are excited to share the available compensation for this role, which includes a base salary range and an annual short-term incentive.
The base salary range is: $105,000 – $125,000, exclusive of benefits or additional incentives (https://www.thesimplygoodfoodscompany.com/careers). Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual short-term incentive target of 15%. If you are hired at Simply Goods Foods, your final base salary compensation will be determined based upon such factors as: geographic locations, skills, training, education and/or experience. Please keep in mind that hiring at the range maximum would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
