MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in accounting or finance-related field
- Minimum of 3 years of external audit experience at a public accounting firm
- Experience understanding audit schedules, requests, and auditor deliverables
- Ability to act as liaison between accounting team and auditors
- Experience reviewing schedules/workpapers before submission to auditors
- Experience preparing/reviewing reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Proficiency in workflow processes, Excel (including tables, vlookups, and pivot tables), QuickBooks, and enterprise-level accounting software
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CPA or MBA designation
- QuickBooks Enterprise/Desktop experience OR ERP system experience
- Experience preparing/submitting materials through audit portals (EY)
- Equity accounting experience
- Stock-based compensation exposure
- Tech/startup industry experience
