We are seeking an experienced Director of Accounting for a profitable and growing, international manufacturing company. This individual will lead accounting operations, own the consolidation and financial reporting, along with AP, AR, and payroll.

Accounting Director Responsibilities:

•Manage the monthly close for the US and perform the Global Consolidation
•Work with the Corporate Controller in developing internal control guidelines, policies, and procedures for accounting, cash and credit management, accounts payable, and payroll
•Manage the monthly commission calculation, including preparation and review with Controller prior to review with the CFO and CEO
•Manage relationship with external auditors to enable the annual independent audit to be conducted in an efficient and timely manner.
•Partner with DBA (database administrator) for OneStream (consolidation system) to ensure optimal use of the system
•Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
•Provide support to management, to enable informed operational and strategic decision support.

Accounting Director Requirements:

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.
•CPA desired
•3 to 5 years prior Accounting Director/Accounting Manager experience preferred.
•Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
•Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.
•Understanding of economic principles, financial markets, and banking.
•Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.
•Proven experience in financial project management.
•Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel.
•Must be able to communicate financial information in sound business language so people of all levels can understand
