WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Digital Acceleration Manager reports to our Director, Digital Acceleration taking an owner’s approach leading with a bias for action and endless curiosity. This individual will work closely with Sales, Brand Marketing, and the Insights and Analytics team to tap into best practices and insights developing and optimizing plans that will accelerate growth with our key retail partners – Amazon, Walmart, Target and Instacart. The Digital Acceleration Manager is responsible for leading the daily marketing efforts and investments for our brands in retailer media networks and omnichannel programs with Target. This individual will also play a key role in synthesizing information and data that will support future investment recommendations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own, develop, influence and execute omnichannel marketing programs and digital media campaigns with national customers, specifically Target (i.e. Instacart, Walmart, Kroger); From strategy to reporting – Meet sales objectives, build a mutually beneficial partnership with our Roundel retailer and focus on the drive of our business
  • Bring big eComm marketing ideas to life – Plan and initiate holistic campaigns with the Sales (B&M and eComm), Brand Marketing, Creative, Insights, and Digital Asset Management teams; Advocate for an omnichannel approach to marketing
  • Promote and secure funding to support commerce marketing initiatives that deliver in-store and online sales growth
  • Become an eCommerce evangelist – Educate internal and external partners on eGrocery landscape, best practices, and opportunities/challenges to enable a best-in-class omnichannel retail marketing organization
  • Build relationships with retailer marketing organizations to build new opportunities for growth and partnerships that ensure the efficiency of our digital investment
  • Influence retailer conversation around digital media platform and roadmap to improve marketing capabilities and performance
  • Set KPIs and build reporting processes to measure eComm marketing performance; Transform insights into added value by creating solutions that convert shoppers into buyers
  • Participate / Lead special projects and assignments, as required
  • Participate in all other miscellaneous SMPL and departmental tasks, as required
  • Attend departmental/cross-functional meetings

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong analytical skills; Ability to find solutions to complex problems in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines
  • eCommerce and Performance Marketing mindset; Understand of how to leverage marketing tactics to target shoppers throughout the funnel-to-drive conversion
  • Demonstrated ability to drive improvement of marketing and business KPIs, particularly in a complex, multi-stakeholder and fluid environment
  • Ability to balance strategy and flawless execution for our customers on a daily basis using thought leadership
  • Technical understanding; Ability to work with product, engineering and data teams to advocate for and shepherd new industry-leading capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to educate / influence cross-functional teams, key stakeholders and external partners

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/BA degree, required; CPG Experience, highly preferred
  • 4 to 6 years’ progressive experience within Marketing
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in development and execution of digital marketing programs and media plans
  • Experience in retail media networks (i.e., Target Roundel, Walmart Connect, Amazon, Instacart, etc.)
  • Experience in eCommerce platforms, driving strategy and execution, as well as measurement and analytics
  • Experience and working knowledge leading marketing programs across digital channels (i.e., display, search, email, social, mobile, etc.)

** Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment and may be stressful at times. Work may require sitting for long periods of time; requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and fax machine and scanner.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The health, satisfaction and well-being of our employees are important to us and an integral part of our organization’s goals. In this spirit, we are excited to share the available compensation for this role, which includes a base salary range and an annual short-term incentive.

The base salary range is: $90,000 – $100,000, exclusive of benefits or additional incentives (https://www.thesimplygoodfoodscompany.com/careers). Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual short-term incentive target of 10%. If you are hired at Simply Goods Foods, your final base salary compensation will be determined based upon such factors as: geographic locations, skills, training, education and/or experience. Please keep in mind that hiring at the range maximum would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
