The Global Head of People Analytics oversees Talent Analytics, Workforce Planning and Global Reporting.


• Set a vision for the future on how to take People Analytics as a business differentiator to the next level; including a business process and technology roadmap
• Lead the priority of driving HR to becoming a data driven organization
• Business process ownership for all people reporting, workforce planning and people insights work being mapped and configured into Workday and Workforce 360
• Partnership across the organization, especially within HR to ensure stakeholder needs are met with the new processes as well as ensuring all change management efforts are conducted to drive swift adoption of the new way of working
• Externally look at the market trends, other companies and predictive analytics to provide consultation to HR leadership on what should be looked in terms of strategic approaches
• Review program or project requirements and allocate resources appropriately
• Partner with the CDAO organization to leverage technical data experts for project and program support
• Communicate with excellence on insights found and business impact
• Assess and scope future state analytics requirements
• Define and lead projects that solve immediate business problems and build insights as it relates to improving performance as it relates to recruiting, developing, engaging and retaining talent; (e.g. Efficiency & Effectiveness metrics tied to our Human Capital)
• Support/prioritize business reporting needs, Leadership questions, and Adhoc requests
• Understand and manage the team to analyze and make sense of large sets of data and translate findings in a visually appealing manner that tells a story and aids in making data driven decisions
• Engage and collaborate with HR, Finance and others functional leaders on strategic workforce planning to identify key workforce challenges and opportunities impacting the business
• Understand the process of developing and executing mathematical models and analytical solutions which assist in leadership decision-making in support of staffing plans and talent management
• Execute quantitative and qualitative predictive analytics and tools
• Lead the design, development and execution of internal and external workforce benchmarking studies

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business field; HR, data analytics, finance, business administration etc.
• Demonstrated skills in data analysis and quantitative techniques
• Demonstrated high-level problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated large scale program and single project management skills
• Expert knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint
• Demonstrated advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, advanced formulas, macros, etc.)
• Proficient research skills including utilization of internal (organizational) and external (e.g. internet) data sources
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills in English

Qualifications and skills Preferred:

• Experience in IT system development and the ability to: (1) understand the impact of a systems change; and (2) execute a project to achieve the desired outcome
• Experience using HR Management Systems (Workday, PeopleSoft and SAP preferred)
• Knowledge of budget processes and financial systems
• Knowledge of automotive OEMs and design, build, sell processes
• Knowledge of statistics
