Our client, a consumer goods company in a growth mode, is seeking a National Sales Manager who will play a key role in driving revenue growth and market expansion. This is a great opportunity where you will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales goals and revenue targets across all retail channels nationwide!

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company’s objectives and revenue targets.
  • Manage a high-performing sales team across multiple regions, providing leadership, guidance, and motivation to the sales team to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded; analyze sales data and market trends to develop actionable insights and strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Develop annual sales budgets and forecasts in collaboration with executive management.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience with a proven track record of success in retail sales management
  • Experience in Consumer Electronics and/or housewares/small appliances strongly preferred
  • Strong relationships in channels including drug, grocery, club, big box, specialty, etc.
  • Understanding of retail industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
  • Strategic thinker and analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
