Job Description
The ideal candidate will have payroll experience, an analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills. The candidate will interact with many groups within the company in a highly visible position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll data entry for about 400 employees
- Reviewing and reconciling timecard data for bi-weekly payroll
- Review PTO
- LOA or Short-Term Disabilities
- Checking deductions to make sure employees don’t get overpaid/underpaid
- Send Sr. Payroll Accountant the payroll registers to review
- Assisting employees with payroll related issues
- Communicate with HR/Benefits
- Ad-hoc reporting as requested
Must Have Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or higher
- Analytical/process improvement mindset to look at data and want to investigate discrepancies
- Experience processing payroll for hourly employees and salaried employees
- Experience auditing contributions that were deducted from employees every month
- Customer service experience with internal employees
- Automated ERP such as SAP, Oracle, SAGE Intacct, NetSuite, etc. (Not QuickBooks)
- Payroll software experience such as APS, Ripling, Ceridian, ADP, SAP, Workday, etc
- Excel (V-lookups, SUMIFs, Pivot tables from scratch)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journal Entry experience
- Vanguard RockyMountain Reserve experience
- GoogleSheets experience
