Job Description
The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge and excellent communication skills. The candidate will interact with many groups within the company in a highly visible position.
Responsibilities:
- Account for revenue in accordance with policy and revenue recognition accounting standards including ASC 606.
- Perform various monthly general ledger close responsibilities and weekly transactional level accounting duties
- Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements.
- Reconciliation of AR Aging and associated clearing accounts
- Reconciliation of company bank accounts
- Creating financial analytics and management reports
- Miscellaneous projects as necessary
Must Have Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- 2+ years of general accounting experience including revenue recognition
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Strong analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- SaaS experience
- Experience with Sage Intacct
- General interest in blockchain and crypto currencies
