Our client, a rapidly growing food manufacturer with innovative products, is seeking a Senior Director of Sales to oversee their Retail, Drug and Dollar channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating relationships and driving profitable sales. They will have a strong background in customer business management and development and will excel in promoting culture and values within their team. Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and manage a sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage partnerships with existing and developing customers
  • Act as the primary interface with senior leadership on customer development, revenue delivery, and strategic engagement.
  • Deliver growth and market share through core-item expansion and select innovations for customers and implement a streamlined go-to-market approach for developing customers.
  • Execute the plan for all customer interactions and developing the customer growth pipeline and provide monthly sales, category, and forecast updates to keep the team informed of significant changes in the business.

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, with 10+ years of sales management experience with a national brand, including experience in selling products through channels such as retail, grocery, drug, or dollar stores.
  • Must have a demonstrated track record in business development with proven leadership skills, including the ability to lead, manage, and develop sales and business development teams.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and mathematic ability with experience on MS Office suite.
  • Expert in conflict management and influencing skills
