Role Overview:
As a Financial Analyst, you will be a key player in the finance team, responsible for providing valuable insights, analyzing financial data, and identifying areas for improvement. You will actively engage with various departments, spending significant time on the manufacturing floor to uncover challenges and collaborate on effective solutions. Your expertise in cost accounting and ERP & CRM systems will be essential in maintaining accurate financial records and optimizing cost management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis, including cost accounting, inventory management, and budgeting, to support business strategies.
- Utilize ERP & CRM systems to track and analyze data, providing actionable recommendations for improved financial performance.
- Spend 30% of your time on the manufacturing floor, identifying operational challenges and collaborating with teams to find solutions.
- Handle ad hoc reporting, delivering critical financial data to stakeholders for decision-making purposes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize SQL and coding skills to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Serve as an excellent communicator, explaining complex financial concepts to various teams within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in the manufacturing industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience with a strong understanding of business operations and finance principles.
- Expertise in cost accounting, ERP & CRM systems, and inventory management.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and cost flow on customer returns.
- Preferred experience with SQL and coding for advanced data analysis.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
