Software Engineer

Based in Atlanta, GA we are a FinTech startup focused on non-prime consumer lending. With half a billion in bootstrap funding, bringing $10M+ in revenue last year we are a fast-moving, hard-working, and collaborative team that is rapidly growing with an upside potential quickly pushing towards a billion dollars.

We are looking for an exceptional Software Engineer to join our growing team building cutting edge technology!

THE ROLE:

• Performs coding, system design, project estimation, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
• Breakdown complex issues, create structure where needed, and tackle larger scale problems
• Practices and promotes quality coding techniques in conjunction with an AGILE development methodology.
• Understands secure software design, recommends and applies best practices in this area, and spots potential problems in systems.
• A cooperative team-player that leads pro-actively through reason and respect for the viewpoints and experiences of others.
• A creative problem solver who can work in a fast-paced, dynamic, cross-functional environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ Years of Full Stack Web Application Development
• .NET, C#, Python, MVC core, SQL
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Expertise of secure software design, recommends and applies best practices
• Experience directing efforts of junior team members
