BrainWorks is retained by the leader in the clean energy SaaS space seeking a Senior Manager of Demand Generation. They are a rapidly growing, PE backed pioneer in the Clean Tech space, accelerating the global transition to a sustainable energy future.
The Senior Manager of Demand Generation will be responsible for the execution of all campaigns (paid and organic) to drive a robust lead pipeline, plus manage the development of lead evaluation, measurement, and tracking. Reporting to the Director, Marketing Strategy, this new role will work in close partnership with the Sales Development and Account Executives and members of the marketing team responsible for operations, product marketing, strategy, and design. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy and detail oriented, a self-starter that is highly focused on measurable growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, collaborative manager to come into a quickly growing company to lead and grow a team within marketing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the execution of B2B integrated, omnichannel demand generation marketing campaigns and supporting tactics, with particular emphasis on top-of-funnel engagement (MQLs). • Understand and help manage the marketing/sales funnel stages and definitions in Marketo and Salesforce to enable tracking and measurement. • Build Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns with Sales Development to drive growth. • Utilize industry best practices for email marketing and expand demand generation initiatives across all relevant paid and organic channels including SEO, SEM, display, retargeting, direct mail, and outbound email. • Manage the evaluation, selection, planning, and execution of tradeshows and other demand generation events. • Plan and execute demand generation webinars leveraging customers, media, and other partners to deliver value and drive attendance. • Work with Director, Marketing Strategy to create a comprehensive content calendar designed to drive lead generation. • Manage external copywriters, providing content outlines for blogs, whitepapers, and other lead gen content. • Work hand-in-hand with sales, marketing, and product marketing to achieve joint goals for lead generation and sales revenue. • Create and manage marketing automation workflows to support nurture campaigns for all stages of the sales and marketing funnel.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field • 7+ years of proven omnichannel B2B demand generation experience including digital, print, and events. • 5+ years leading high performing teams. • Experience working in a marketing automation platform to build/manage automation workflows, Marketo preferred. • Experience leading paid advertising programs across LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc. • Proven ability to plan and execute tradeshows and other events that drive brand awareness and sales leads. • Working knowledge of ad serving tools • Experience creating and managing multichannel digital marketing campaigns and account-based marketing to reach marketing and sales revenue goals • The ability to operate in a fast-moving environment. • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and presentation experience • Experience using a marketing automation platform (Marketo preferred) and Salesforce
