Technology Engineering Lead

As a Technology Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading design, coding, implementation, quality control and the overall software development process across a variety of Sales, Marketing, Client Service, and Corporate applications. You will be expected to lead and contribute to the application portfolio that supports Client Service, Sales, Marketing, and Client Reporting as well as Corporate functions in Human Resources and Finance. You will help the team accelerate delivery of critical features and functionality, while also making material contributions to technical modernization initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Drive full stack software development efforts aimed at providing Client Service, Sales, Marketing and Corporate teams with robust analysis, reporting, sales tools and workflow efficiency
• Advance and develop proprietary and vendor applications that support CRM, website, and marketing analytics
• Play a key role in architecting future sales and marketing applications
• Engineer applications based on cloud native principles
• Work effectively with our infrastructure engineering teams to implement software solutions with high degrees of scalability and resiliency
• Execute and migrate existing workloads to cloud
• Collaborate with relationship managers, marketing managers, and senior management to align program focus and prioritization
• Mentor and grow team members across IT

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in software development with leadership responsibilities
• Deep understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture best practices
• Demonstrated experience working with Python and C#
• Full stack capabilities: Angular front end preferred, APIs, and databases
• Experience with JavaScript and Typescript is a plus
• Experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub and CICD tools is a plus
• Experience with Oracle DB, or MS SQL, or Snowflake, or SingleStore, or Denodo
• Experience with public cloud implementation and services
• Experience in all aspects of application development lifecycle
• Eagerness to learn about and work on any application in the team’s portfolio
• Preferred domain knowledge of financial services
• Very strong communication and team work skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other related discipline
• Energy, enthusiasm, motivation, and a results-oriented attitude
