Our client is a private equity firm focused on investments in US based technology and tech-enabled companies investing in both minority and control situations. The firm has more than $1.5 billion of capital under management across four funds. The growth equity platform is a new investment strategy and you will have the opportunity to join a ground floor fund with the security and backing of a $1.5 billion legacy buyout platform. The firm aims to be a “Partner of Choice” for entrepreneurial owners and management teams by taking an active, collaborative and creative approach to maximizing value in each investment. The firm invests primarily in closely held, private companies where the owners desire to retain a significant stake and partner with an investor with complementary operating and financial skills to accelerate company growth, increase profitability and maximize the value of their retained stake.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our client is seeking a deal quarterback who has completed at least two years of investment banking and three plus years of growth equity experience. Those individuals who are selected to join the firm will be critical to every phase of the investment process.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, computer science or related fields
· Combination of investment banking and growth equity experience
· Strong interest in sourcing investment opportunities
· Solid analytical & financial modeling background
· Strong project management skills
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Leadership skills, with experience contributing to high performing teams, projects and/or
processes
· Proven ability to perform under deadlines
· High degree of proficiency with Excel and presentation software
· Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated individuals

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identifying and generating new investment thesis
· Financial analysis and modeling, Deal quarterbacking
· Conducting due diligence on prospective investment opportunities
· Drafting internal and external presentations including investment committee materials, term
sheets, and lender presentations
· Leading deal team with deal structuring and deal execution
· Analyzing data submitted by portfolio company finance and operations leadership using
relevant key metrics in order to challenge, support and explain the submissions
