We are seeking a growth minded construction executive to lead and manage Project Management, Field Operations, Estimating, and Safety. This is a great operating role and opportunity for someone to take the next step in a company that is scaling. Strong team in place throughout the organization.

The VP of Project Management plays a crucial role in supporting the continued growth of the company, leading field operations and driving efficient and high-quality service delivery. Specific responsibilities will include overseeing, managing, recommending, and implementing improvements over all aspects of estimating, project management, and service delivery within the company. This position requires a highly experienced and strategic leader who can effectively manage multiple competing priorities including safety, the bidding process, project planning and execution, and management of client relationships to ensure successful project outcomes. Additionally, this position will work closely with the executive team to design and implement structures within the company to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to prepare detailed cost estimates
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for projects from inception to completion
  • Ensure and enforce compliance with safety standards for all employees and subcontractors
  • Manage subcontractors including bid solicitation, quality control, and scheduling
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Identify and assess project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Implement and enforce project management best practices and quality control procedures
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsiveness
  • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for crew members and general foremen


  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction estimating and project management with an emphasis in civil construction projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards
