We have been engaged by a leading real estate private equity firm to hire a Vice President for their investment team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s investment strategies, sourcing and executing deals, and driving the overall success of the real estate portfolio. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to lead investment initiatives, provide strategic insights, and contribute to the achievement of the firm’s growth objectives.
Lead the origination, due diligence, and execution of real estate investment opportunities, including acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures.
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify attractive investment opportunities, trends, and risks in the real estate sector.
Develop and present investment recommendations, financial models, and business plans to senior management and investment committee.
Manage deal teams, including analysts and associates, to ensure efficient and effective deal execution.
Oversee asset management activities, working closely with property management teams to optimize property performance, enhance value, and drive operational efficiencies.
Monitor and assess portfolio performance, identifying areas for value enhancement and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure all investment activities adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of successful deal execution and portfolio management.
Strong understanding of real estate markets, investment analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence processes.
Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior executives, investors, and external stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think creatively, solve complex problems, and adapt to evolving market conditions.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel, ARGUS, and other real estate analysis platforms.
