The VP of Supply Chain is responsible for the design, implementation, and monitoring of key processes, partners, and solutions to support a cost-effective and scalable supply chain operation. The role will oversee all logistics activities, including the planning, coordination, and scheduling of the inbound receipt and outbound distribution (including exports) of products throughout multiple locations. Additionally, this role will provide oversight of proper inventory management as well as provide recommendations and implementation of plans to improve the efficient movement of products while delivering on our promise to the Customer.


  • 30%: Develop a robust supply chain network to align with our customer growth strategy, providing best-in-class capabilities in logistics and warehousing to connect our dynamic global supply with the customers we serve.
  • 30%: Analyze the current outbound transportation approach and create and implement the build out of an efficient outbound strategy.
  • 30%: Build out a North America warehousing strategy – identify and implement new processes/efficiencies to build a cost-effective model to better serve our customers, while maintaining a mindset on continuous improvement.
  • 10%: Lead, train, and mentor the Supply Chain team, with an active role in identifying growth and development opportunities for each individual.


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a strategic role leading logistics + warehouse management, with international shipping experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in perishables, with meat / protein industry preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with TMS software + ERP platform (Salesforce preferred)
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional certification required
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification a plus
  • Self-motivated
  • Proven track record of delivering on business plans
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple demands
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and prompt, professional customer service
  • Ability to lead by example (train, delegate, mentor and supervise staff)
