Stephanie Newman

Stephanie Newman joins BrainWorks as the Managing Director of Attorney Recruiting. Stephanie spent over two decades in leadership roles with Adecco USA’s attorney recruiting and legal staffing division, Parker + Lynch Legal (now known as LHH). In her last position Stephanie served as National Vice President of Attorney Recruiting. She also owned a boutique legal search firm for 2 years immediately prior to joining BrainWorks.

Stephanie is a seasoned attorney recruiter specializing in lateral partner placements, law firm mergers, and corporate legal department expansion. She works with top AmLaw firms, boutique practices, and corporations nationwide. She has a track record of success in conducting retained searches for corporations seeking to expand their legal teams or appoint their first general counsel. Known for her thoughtful, strategic approach, Stephanie is dedicated to fostering lasting success for clients and candidates alike.

Stephanie is also a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace, with a focus on employment for adults with autism. She volunteers with Autism Speaks’ adult employment group, and in 2022 she founded The Do Good Crew LLC, a NJ based volunteer group for autistic teens and young adults. The group provides autistic individuals with meaningful volunteer opportunities with businesses.

Stephanie lives in NJ with her husband, two teenage sons and two dogs. They have a shared passion for Disney World and visit there as much as possible! They are die-hard NJ Devils fans and enjoy watching games together. She also enjoys spending down-time with her family at their vacation home in Florida.
