The Global Head of Marketing will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive, modern marketing strategy designed to accelerate growth, strengthen brand visibility, and differentiate the company in an increasingly competitive marketplace.This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will bring together brand, digital, content, social media, communications, and marketing operations into a cohesive function while elevating the organization’s voice and relevance across channels.A critical priority will be translating the company’s rich history, differentiated offering, and mission into compelling, concise messaging that resonates with today’s audiences—particularly young parents who increasingly discover and evaluate children’s activities through digital and social channels. The role will also support the company’s network of licensees by developing scalable marketing strategies, tools, content, and resources that can be effectively deployed in local markets. As a member of the Executive Team, the Global Head of Marketing will have a meaningful voice in broader business and growth decisions, partnering closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and shape the organization’s future.Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership- Develop and execute an integrated global marketing strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Build a cohesive marketing function spanning brand, digital, social, content, communications, PR, and marketing operations.
- Strengthen the organization’s positioning, messaging, and brand voice to clearly communicate its differentiated value.
- Identify emerging trends, technologies, channels, and opportunities to expand reach and engagement.
- Serve as a strategic member of the Executive Team, bringing a marketing perspective to broader business and growth initiatives.
- Lead the company’s digital marketing strategy, including social media, website, SEO/SEM, AI/SAIO, paid media, email, and inbound lead generation.
- Modernize the organization’s digital presence and identify opportunities to improve the website, social channels, and overall customer journey.
- Develop compelling content and messaging tailored to different audiences, platforms, and stages of engagement.
- Ensure brand consistency while keeping the brand voice fresh, relevant, distinctive, and compelling.
- Oversee the development of digital creative, including graphics, photography, short-form video, campaigns, and written content.
- Leverage analytics and performance data to continuously optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Develop strategies that deepen engagement with today’s parents and families and clearly articulate the value of the organization’s programs.
- Expand awareness beyond audiences already familiar with early childhood music and reach families who may not yet recognize the value of music education.
- Develop marketing strategies that support growth across both family and school/early childhood audiences.
- Strengthen the value proposition and marketing approach for attracting new licensees and supporting their business growth.
- Create scalable, turnkey marketing resources that enable licensees to effectively market within their local communities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small, established marketing team, bringing greater cohesion, accountability, and strategic direction to the function.
- Establish effective workflows, priorities, and processes across marketing activities.
- Manage the marketing budget and external agency relationships.
- Establish meaningful KPIs and regularly evaluate and communicate marketing performance against business objectives.
What We’re Looking For

This individual will bring fresh perspective to an established organization and have the ability to challenge assumptions, create clarity, and turn strategy into action.Required Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing comprehensive, integrated marketing strategies.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing, social media, content strategy, and modern consumer engagement.
- Strong understanding of SEO/SEM, analytics, email marketing, paid media, and emerging digital channels.
- Experience with AI/SAIO and evolving search behaviors is highly valued.
- Proven experience in brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and brand stewardship.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling messaging for different audiences and platforms.
- Experience leading and developing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
