About the Role:

Our client, a leading distributor, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover the New England territory. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with experience selling interior building products such as flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC supplies. You’ll work closely with contractors, developers, renovators, and remodelers on quick-turnaround projects that demand precision and speed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and renovation professionals.
  • Sell a wide range of interior building products and supplies for multi-family renovation projects.
  • Provide consultative sales solutions tailored to fast-paced project timelines.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitor offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven success in outside sales in construction or building products.
  • Strong knowledge of interior building materials (flooring, cabinetry, plumbing, HVAC).
  • Comfortable calling on contractors, developers, and remodelers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel within the New England territory.
