About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Paid Media Manager to immediately support our digital marketing efforts during a period of rapid growth and team transition. This role is critical to maintaining and improving lead generation performance across a large, multi-location franchise system while our team undergoes restructuring and a key team member is on maternity leave.
This is not an agency management role — this person will personally build, manage, and optimize paid media campaigns across multiple platforms and locations.
The initial contract is 12 weeks, with strong potential to extend or convert to full-time for the right fit.

Business Context

  • Marketing team recently experienced full turnover and is undergoing a rebuild
  • Prior technical and tracking issues are being resolved with agency support
  • Long-term strategy is to bring paid media execution fully in-house
  • Currently supporting 110 franchise territories, with plans to open 50 more this year
  • Paid media is mission-critical to franchisee success and cannot lapse during this transition

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Strategy & Execution

  • Own day-to-day management of paid media campaigns across:
    • Google Ads
    • Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
    • LinkedIn (preferred)
    • Emerging channels (e.g., Spotify, other test-and-learn platforms) would be nice-to-know
    • Build, launch, and optimize campaigns directly (no agency execution)
    • Manage and allocate ad spend across many local markets
    • Test new channels, creatives, and audience strategies focused on acquisition

Performance & Optimization

  • Monitor and optimize campaigns for lead generation and cost efficiency
  • Conduct regular performance analysis and reporting
  • Identify issues and opportunities quickly and take corrective action
  • Translate performance data into clear insights and recommendations

Stakeholder Communication

  • Present paid media performance in clear, actionable terms to:
    • Franchise owners
    • Franchise business coaches
    • Internal marketing leadership
    • Support storytelling around how paid media drives business growth at the local level

Required Experience & Skills

  • Strong, hands-on experience managing paid media for lead generation and acquisition
  • Consumer marketing required; prefer agency or franchise experience
  • Proven experience building and optimizing campaigns directly in ad platforms
  • Comfortable managing many accounts or markets simultaneously
  • Experience in one or more of the following is highly preferred:
    • Franchise systems
    • Multi-location brands
    • Agency environments managing multiple clients
