BrainWorks is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Sales Operations Manager for one of our esteemed clients, a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy services across the country. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization with over 700 locations and a large sales team of Business Development Managers, projected to expand this year.
This role is critical to the continued development and optimization of the sales function. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in enhancing data visibility, streamlining processes, and driving sales team effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the evolution of the sales dashboard, currently at 20% of its potential, by implementing a clear roadmap for additional layers, pages, and dashboards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with a centralized data and reporting team to ensure data integrity and consistent KPIs across the organization.
- Take ownership of the Salesforce CRM instance, including cleaning up existing messy data, implementing data integrity rules, and customizing the system to optimize sales workflows and business needs.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive onboarding training for new sales hires on Salesforce usage and best practices.
- Create and maintain an internal Salesforce user manual with clear guidelines for account creation, custom fields, and data entry.
- Provide ongoing troubleshooting and support for the sales team related to data, Salesforce, and the sales dashboard.
- Analyze referral trends from healthcare providers (physicians, schools, and community partners) to provide actionable insights to the sales team.
- Generate reports and presentations using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint for various audiences, including the sales team, executive leadership, and potentially board meetings.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Power BI experience is essential and required. Candidates with Tableau experience alone will not be considered.
- Salesforce experience is required, including a proven track record of cleaning up unstructured and messy data environments (data cleansing experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and presentation development.
- Experience collaborating effectively with centralized data and reporting teams; this is not a “one-man show” role.
- Analytically minded, detail-oriented, and precise in work quality.
- Personable and extroverted with the ability to engage and excite a sales team of up to 75 individuals, leading engaging calls and training sessions.
- EMR/EHR experience is preferred to understand data flow, field mapping, and the healthcare referral-based sales environment.
- Understanding of referral-based sales within a healthcare setting.
Systems and Tools:
- BI Platform: Power BI (Required)
- CRM: Salesforce (Required)
- Office Suite: Excel and PowerPoint (Strong proficiency required)
Logistics and Compensation:
- Location: Remote, with a preference for candidates living in or near a market where the client operates to facilitate occasional ride-alongs and clinic visits.
- Travel: Approximately quarterly travel for sales off-sites and national leadership meetings (2-3 times per year). More frequent travel may be required initially for familiarization.
- Salary Target: Base salary of $100k-$130k.
- Bonus: 10% of the annual base salary
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and skilled Sales Operations Manager to make a significant impact within a growing and supportive organization. If you possess the required skills and are excited about shaping the future of sales operations, I encourage you to apply.
