Bowen Knarr leads the BrainWorks Interim practice out of Denver, Colorado which focuses on contract, consulting, and temporary staffing under the office of the CFO. Bowen has worked within the accounting and finance recruitment field since 2008. He was one of the founding members of the accounting and finance recruitment division for the largest privately held staffing firm in the world. During his time there, he was instrumental in its growth from a brand-new entity to one that is currently recognized as the second largest accounting and finance staffing company by revenue in the United States. With a deep focus on qualification of roles and screening of candidates, he has won multiple top performer and top producer awards as both an individual contributor and in team leadership roles. Throughout his time there he also promoted and developed a team of successful sales and recruitment professionals while remaining heavily involved with the organization’s Diversity and Inclusion program. During his career, he has supported companies from start-up to fortune 50 with roles ranging from temporary Bookkeepers and AP/AR clerks up to interim Controllers and VPs of Finance. He is a graduate of Drexel University’s Lebow College of Business. Like any good lifelong Philadelphia native, he married a wonderful woman from New Jersey, and they have a 10 pound dog named Clooney. They currently reside in Denver just north of Cherry Creek State Park.
