Jeff Fix is a seasoned C-suite human resources and private equity executive with 25+ years of leadership experience across Fortune 500 corporations and private equity-backed enterprises. Known for his deep expertise in M&A integration, corporate carve-outs, and organizational transformation, Jeff has successfully navigated 90+ transactions and led complex HR engagements across industries ranging from healthcare technology, SaaS, and financial services to manufacturing..
His career includes senior leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group, Deluxe Corporation, and Ceridian, as well as CHRO positions at TPG Capital-backed Lyric and PE-backed The IMAGINE Group. He has built HR functions from the ground up, stood up board governance structures, designed executive compensation programs, and led enterprise-wide cultural transformations, consistently delivering measurable business results.
In addition to his operating roles, Jeff founded Fractional HR, LLC and served as Senior Operating Advisor at Beckway, advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies on human capital strategy, from high-level strategic direction through hands-on execution, during periods of rapid growth, acquisition, and transition.
At BrainWorks, Jeff leads the PE & Portfolio Company Leadership Practice with a unique perspective, having held the seat himself, he brings an unmatched ability to assess executive talent through both a people and business value lens. He holds a Bachelors in Human Resources from Auburn University and an MBA from LaGrange College. Additionally, Jeff completed his executive program at Stanford Graduate School of Business and holds the SPHR certification. Jeff is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife.
