Marketing Operations Manager
Rachel Swan has spent the better part of two decades building things that work. She started her career at Vanderbilt University, managing large-scale federally funded research programs. Several years ago, Rachel transitioned to a career in marketing and operations where she’s found that the same principles still hold: rigorous process design, clean data, and systems that don’t fall apart under pressure.
Most recently, Rachel designed custom software applications, built API integrations with HubSpot, and created automated workflows for an insurance company that made the business development pipeline run more smoothly. Before that, she spent time in the healthcare space, translating complex subject matter into content real people actually wanted to read.
Now at BrainWorks, she’s bringing the full kit — HubSpot architecture, AI-assisted production, and brand-consistent design. She’s equally at home shaping a campaign strategy and building the system that delivers it.
Outside work, Rachel is putting the finishing touches on her most ambitious project yet: a fully equipped dance studio in her basement for her nine-year-old daughter, Eva. Disco ball and spotlights included.
