Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the development of category growth strategies by leveraging shopper insights, retail data, and competitive analysis.
- Retail Partner Expert: Act as the go-to category expert for key US retail partners, providing high-level guidance on assortment, pricing, product placement, and promotional strategies.
- Consumer Insight Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of consumer behavior, market trends, and sales performance using top syndicated data sources (e.g., Circana, Nielsen) to uncover growth opportunities.
- Actionable Insights: Create impactful insights to boost category performance and strengthen retail partnerships.
- Compelling Storytelling: Collaborate with Sales and Innovation teams to develop powerful presentations based on category insights that enhance brand’s market presence and product distribution.
- Executive Presentation: Present category performance metrics and trends to the executive team, highlighting key drivers and actionable takeaways.
Key Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in a Category Management role, ideally within the FMCG sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or research field.
- High numerical aptitude with advanced analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Expertise in Circana / Nielsen
- Strong presentation skills and experience working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
