We are seeking a Business Operations Director to oversee daily store operations, drive strategic initiatives, and champion community engagement. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader with a keen understanding of luxury retail operations, team management, and brand alignment.
Position Summary:
The Business Operations Director will ensure seamless store operations and execute strategic initiatives to uphold the brand’s commitment to excellence. The role encompasses managing charitable initiatives, enhancing community engagement, and collaborating closely with the Director of Sales to optimize team performance, client satisfaction, and overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Store Operations & Leadership
- Lead and oversee daily store operations to ensure exceptional service and a luxurious client experience.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to implement sales strategies, drive revenue, and maintain the brand’s market leadership.
- Ensure store presentation and operations reflect the brand’s luxury image, focusing on quality, exclusivity, and attention to detail.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
2. Financial & Business Management
- Monitor key financial metrics, providing insights to optimize profitability and resource allocation.
- Collaborate on inventory management strategies to balance cost control with demand forecasting.
- Contribute to strategic planning by analyzing financial data and assessing business performance.
- 3. Community Engagement & Charitable Initiatives
- Define and lead charitable giving strategies aligned with the brand’s values.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and oversee partnerships for events and initiatives.
- Represent the company at community events, enhancing brand visibility and fostering positive community ties.
4. Brand Messaging & Communications
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms, aligning with the company’s mission and values.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the brand’s civic, philanthropic, and business endeavors through digital content, PR efforts, and social media.
5. Sales Support & Customer Experience
- Partner with the Director of Sales to elevate the client experience through personalized service and relationship-building.
- Support strategies for client acquisition and retention, particularly among high-net-worth individuals.
- Plan and participate in exclusive events, product launches, and VIP experiences to strengthen client loyalty.
6. Inventory & Asset Management
- Oversee inventory management to ensure availability and alignment with customer demand and brand standards.
- Maintain security protocols to safeguard high-value merchandise.
- Partner with designers and vendors to curate exclusive, high-quality product selections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- 10+ years of leadership experience in luxury retail operations, with exposure to financial and business strategy.
- Proven ability to analyze and interpret financial data to support business decisions.
- Strong leadership skills with a background in team management and development.
- In-depth knowledge of the luxury market and exceptional customer experience standards.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency with financial tools, inventory systems, and point-of-sale (POS) software; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
