AR Specialist

We are seeking an Accounting/AR Specialist to join a collaborative Finance team, with a focus on accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, and stop-loss-related accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and invoicing activities
• Process and reconcile payments and account activity
• Support stop-loss accounting and related transactions
• Research and resolve payment, invoice, and balance discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Partner closely with Finance team members and external contacts
• Assist with reporting and other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in AR, billing, invoicing, or general accounting
• Strong reconciliation, research, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-oriented office environment
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• Experience in insurance, employee benefits, healthcare, or stop-loss is a plus, but not required
