As the Quest brand continues to grow, we are seeking an Associate Brand Manager to support our core protein bars businesses, which make up over half of our total Quest sales. The Associate Brand Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and analysis of various business initiatives, including owning a subline within the Bars portfolio. This person will also play a critical role helping the team understand the health of the business and opportunities for continued growth. The Associate Brand Manager will gain broad exposure to all functional activities on the Quest business, such as Consumer Insights, Supply Chain Planning, Research & Development, and Finance. In addition, this role has significant exposure to our Executive leadership team.
Own subline within Bars portfolio, including daily management of the business and championing growth opportunities
Utilize consumption/panel & shipment data, sales performance, and financial analysis to understand key business metrics, including opportunities and risks; Report and present recommendations to stakeholders
Proactively leverage data to identify areas to analyze deeper; Partner with IRI, Numerator, and Consumer Insights to answer these business questions
Lead development of new pack sizes and more for our base business from idea to launch (i.e., product feasibility validation, packaging development and sales execution); Present and align Executive team through Stage Gate process
Ensure marketing strategies and goals are communicated cross-functionally and come through all touchpoints
Support execution of shopper and consumer marketing campaigns / activities, including ROI analysis, as needed
Conduct special projects, analysis, and trackers, as required
Shared responsibility to ensure that packaging labels are accurate and in compliance with acceptable regulations
Participate / Lead special projects and assignments, as required
Participate in all other miscellaneous SMPL and departmental tasks, as required
Attend departmental/cross-functional meetings
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:
Must love data and story-telling
Strong quantitative background with ability to synthesize complex information into understandable narratives
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Intellectual curiosity and learning agility; Aspire to learn and grow in the organization and demonstrate strategic thinking
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicate (both verbally and written) at all levels of the organization
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment; Exceptional time management skills to juggle multiple projects at once; Quality, accuracy, reliability, and ownership of work
Bachelor’s degree, required; MBA, preferred
Minimum 1 year experience in CPG brand management with experience in food category, preferred
Syndicated data experience, such as IRI and/or Nielsen, required (IRI, highly preferred)
Experience translating data into actionable insights
Experience leading project timelines and cross-functional teams ** Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment and may be stressful at times. Work may require sitting for long periods of time; requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier and fax machine and scanner.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: The health, satisfaction and security of our employees and their families are important to us and an important part of reaching our organization’s goals. We offer a total rewards package that includes valuable and competitive compensation and benefit plans. These programs reflect our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent and keeping our staff healthy and secure. The compensation available for this role includes base salary, and an annual short-term bonus. All incentive plans are subject to management and Board of Directors discretion. The hiring range for this role is $90,000 – $110,000 annual base salary. ** Compensation to commensurate with level of knowledge, skills, and experience applicable to the position.
The annual short-term incentive target for this role is: 10% of your annual base salary.
