We’re seeking a bold, hands-on Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the next phase of growth at a fast-scaling, performance-driven marketing and lead generation business deeply connected to the insurance ecosystem.
This is a newly created executive role built for someone who understands the full funnel, from paid search to policy sale, and has the strategic and tactical chops to scale a high-performing team, diversify our acquisition channels, and drive measurable value creation across a growing ecosystem. Key to this role will be expanding the full funnel from search to other marketing sources such as social, native, and affiliate. We’re looking to build out a best-in-class marketing program.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Strategic Leadership
- Own the marketing vision, roadmap, and execution across paid, organic, social, affiliate, and lifecycle.
- Translate company goals into a scalable marketing strategy aligned with profitability and long-term value creation.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to shape brand positioning and go-to-market strategy across entities.
- Dive into the tactics and build based on a proven playbook, then build out the team.
Channel Diversification & Optimization
- Expand beyond our current strength in paid search to unlock new channels: organic SEO, affiliate, paid social, and lifecycle/email.
- Architect a modern demand gen engine that integrates content, tech, and analytics.
Team & Infrastructure Buildout
- Evaluate current team, tools, and agencies, scale and structure the marketing department accordingly.
- Mentor and uplevel our marketing team.
- Implement the right martech stack to support sustainable growth and better attribution.
Execution & Accountability
- Be both strategist and operator. You should be as comfortable ideating a new top-of-funnel initiative as you are digging into performance metrics.
- Own the numbers. Manage marketing spend and profitability with rigor.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven growth marketer with executive-level leadership and operator DNA—you know when to lead, and when to get in the weeds.
- Deep understanding of performance marketing, especially in paid search, social, affiliate, and conversion funnels.
- Experience in lead generation, ideally with a background in selling leads for profit or driving policy sales/conversions.
- Track record of creating value at successful growth-stage companies. Pure early-stage startup experience is great, but we want to see your demonstrated ability to scale.
- Clear communicator with conviction. You’ll be expected to take ownership and set the course.
- Bonus points for experience in insurance, regulated industries, or two-sided ecosystems.
