Compensation Manager

BrainWorks HR Search is partnered with a growing organization for their newly created Compensation Manager vacancy in the Dallas, TX area. This is a highly visible, hands-on individual contributor role that will take ownership of the compensation function, developing frameworks, processes, and programs to bring greater structure and consistency across the organization. Responsibilities:

• Build compensation infrastructure, including job leveling, grading structures, salary bands, and role mapping.
• Develop compensation frameworks and processes to ensure consistency across the organization.
• Manage annual compensation processes, including salary reviews and bonus planning.
• Evaluate and enhance commission, incentive, and bonus programs.
• Conduct compensation analysis and benchmarking to support competitive and equitable pay practices.
• Partner with leadership on compensation recommendations and ad-hoc requests.
• Review job descriptions and assess exempt/non-exempt classifications.
• Analyze compensation data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Experience in compensation, including job leveling, grading, salary structures, and compensation frameworks.
• Experience with commission, incentive, and/or bonus plans preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Power BI experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, improve processes, and bring structure to an evolving compensation function.

Compensation: $110,000–$125,000 (+) base salary + 10–15% annual bonus
*HYBRID in Dallas, TX.
