The business was formed as a roll-up strategy in 2019 and has since done 100 acquisitions and is closing in on $1 BN of revenue. They are continuing on their aggressive growth trajectory and as such building their corporate development function.

The Corporate Development Associate will be a highly motivated financial professional interested in being a part of a highly scalable, best-in-class corporate development organization. The company is seeking an exceptional investing professional with an entrepreneurial mindset to help grow the family of partner companies. As a high-profile member of our team, this position will expose you to business valuations and all parts of the acquisition process. The team is comprised of experienced former investment bankers and private equity professionals with experience in mergers and acquisitions and leveraged finance. This is an opportunity to become a key team member on a high-volume acquisition team and to gain significant direct experience in all phases of transaction development and execution, from initial sourcing and evaluation through due diligence and financing, to closing. The role also offers high visibility to the company’s senior leadership team and private equity investors. Successful candidates will have a meaningful impact on the value creation of a growth-minded company grounded in honesty, caring, and hard-work.


The day-to-day responsibilities of this Corporate Development position will consist of:

1. Serving as the in-house lead on the Transaction Execution function
• Managing the relationship with future partners and sellers throughout the transaction process
• Conducting due diligence analyses for investment thesis underwriting and to prepare for first 100 days
• Overseeing the deal process from pre-LOI through to closing an acquisition
• Managing the due diligence process and overseeing service providers
2. Underwrite synergies through delivery and work closely with the FP&A team
3. Helping coordinate the Onboarding phase

• Ensuring a smooth hand-off and transition from the transaction execution process into the group for partner / seller and in a manner that primes the business for accelerated growth and improved performance

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field with a track record of strong academic and extracurricular performance 2-5 years of experience in a role with M&A / business development, investment banking and private equity preferred
• Passion for finance, investing and business development
• Strong financial modelling skills and accounting knowledge
• Exceptional ability to communicate financial information into common language
• Experience working with little oversight and directly with senior leadership
• Analytical – finds meaning and action in numbers, and is a data-driven decision-maker
