Customer Marketing Specialist

Overview of the Role
Our client is rewriting the way organizations think about recognition. By blending digital engagement, symbolic awards, and sentiment-driven insights, we help companies transform workplace culture into their ultimate competitive advantage. As a Customer Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a central role in deepening those relationships long after the initial sale. You’ll design lifecycle campaigns, tell powerful customer stories, and spotlight champions who prove the impact of recognition. This isn’t just about retention—it’s about igniting loyalty, unlocking expansion, and creating advocates who amplify our client’s brand in their own networks.
Key Responsibilities
(i) Lifecycle Campaigns & Engagement
- Architect targeted email journeys, newsletters, and nurture streams that educate, inspire, and drive adoption.
- Segment campaigns by lifecycle stage, product use, and customer intent to deliver tailored experiences.
(ii) Revenue Growth & Expansion
- Design and launch upsell and cross-sell campaigns that maximize customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales to align offers with customer needs and product adoption moments.
(iii) Customer Storytelling & Advocacy
- Produce high-impact case studies, success stories, and webinars that showcase customer wins.
- Build and manage advocacy programs, including reviews, testimonials, and referral incentives.
(iv) Journey Mapping & Optimization
- Audit customer touchpoints and refine the experience to reduce churn and increase satisfaction.
- Identify high-value moments that matter most to customers and design communications to elevate them.
(v) Measurement
- Track campaign metrics (engagement, adoption, NRR) and refine based on insights.
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or SaaS retention roles.
- Mastery of email platforms (HubSpot preferred) and experience designing multi-channel campaigns.
- A natural storyteller who can turn data and results into compelling narratives.
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Analytical chops to translate engagement metrics into actionable strategy.
- Experience partnering across functions—especially Product, Sales, and Success.
- Organizational rigor and comfort managing multiple campaigns at once.
- Passion for culture, recognition, and making workplaces better.
Success Metrics
- Customer retention and Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
- Campaign engagement and adoption metrics.
- Upsell and cross-sell revenue.
- Growth in advocacy programs (reviews, references, referrals).
- Impact of automation on conversion rates.
