Position Summary:
We are looking for a high energy, results-driven, & determined Senior Manager Business Development Ingredients for a PREMIUM product. This individual is charged with driving new business opportunities within the sales and growth agenda of products in the ingredients channel. This position is primarily responsible for working as a member of the Sales Team by driving our ingredients channel growth across multiple platforms including national and regional customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver/exceed annual Sales Volume and Operating Profit Objectives in assigned markets/customers in conjunction with our broker partners.
• Develop a strategic plan on needed new product development outlining the revenue, profit potential, and go to market strategy.
• Lead the development of new customer pipelines, creating and developing relationships with R&D and purchasing teams in target customers
• Work & lead cross-functional teams to translate customer needs internally to delivery customer satisfaction on products and service level
• Develop a pipeline of new products and supporting market development plans for launch of those products
• Work with the Director of Ingredients National Accounts to ensure opportunities are maximized across the entire Ingredient channel and to integrate potential National Accounts into on-going customer service and repeat business maintenance.
• Work with the Director of Sales, International to ensure that new ingredient and manufacturing opportunities are maximized globally
• Manage broker partners by developing clear and concise objectives, performance evaluation tools, and senior level relationships with each partner. Including but not limited to:
o Development and execution of KPI’s
o Development of a performance management plan for broker business managers.
