Our firm has been retained by a rapidly growing, innovation-driven organization seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Marketing to lead the development and execution of its overall marketing strategy. This executive-level leader will be responsible for driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market positioning while building a scalable marketing function aligned with the company’s growth objectives.This is an opportunity for a marketing leader who can operate both strategically and tactically, partnering closely with executive leadership, sales, product, and customer success teams to create measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that supports company growth, customer acquisition, retention, and brand expansion objectives.
- Lead all aspects of demand generation, digital marketing, content marketing, product marketing, brand management, communications, and campaign execution.
- Partner with sales leadership to align marketing initiatives with pipeline generation and revenue targets.
- Create data-driven marketing programs that drive qualified leads and improve conversion rates throughout the customer journey.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), marketing attribution models, and ROI metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize performance.
- Oversee brand strategy and messaging to ensure consistency across all customer-facing channels.
- Manage external agencies, vendors, and strategic partners while evaluating new marketing technologies and platforms.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new offerings and market expansion initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Present marketing plans, performance results, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience leading marketing functions within a growth-oriented organization.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable business results.
- Strong expertise across digital marketing, demand generation, performance marketing, content strategy, branding, and marketing analytics.
- Experience building marketing infrastructure, processes, and teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Ability to balance long-term strategic planning with hands-on execution.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to guide decisions and optimize performance.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with executive leadership, sales, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience within the physical security industry, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, monitoring services, security integration, life safety, or related technologies.
- Deep understanding of the channel ecosystem, including security integrators, distributors, consultants, architects, and enterprise end users.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, including management of teams and budgets.
- Prior marketing leadership experience within a physical security manufacturer, security technology company, systems integrator, or adjacent B2B technology environment.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies for enterprise security solutions, SaaS-enabled security platforms, video surveillance, access control, cloud security offerings, or related technologies.
- Background supporting high-growth, private equity-backed, venture-backed, or rapidly scaling organizations is a plus.
- Expertise with modern marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and reporting platforms.
What Success Looks Like
- Within the first 12 months, the Director of Marketing will:

Compensation
A competitive compensation package, including base salary of $145k-$170k, performance incentives, and benefits, will be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.About the Search:
