Our client, a consumer goods manufacturer with an iconic brand, is seeking a Director of Sales with strong analytical skills to manage a top national account. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, innovative and fast paced environment where you can make an impact!
Responsibilities include:
- Drive profitable revenue growth in a top strategically guided national account.
- Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan and execute against Joint Business Plan objectives.
- Work with Marketing to develop strategies for the roll out of new products/promotions.
- Develop fact-based sales presentations using category and market data, account practices, and promotional strategies.
Ideal Candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of sales and account management experience within CPG General Merchandise
- Strong understanding of category management, account P&L’s and analytics
- Fact-based selling and ability to communicate consumer trends and formulate actionable customer programs through the use of data
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience with Walmart/Luminate preferred
- Omnichannel experience is a plus
