Position: Document Review Specialist (6-12 Month Project)
Location: 100% Remote
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM Eastern Standard Time
Please note: Candidates must have their own Windows-based laptop/computer, dual monitor setup and access to high-speed internet to perform this role remotely.
About the Role:
As a Document Review Specialist, you will focus on reviewing large documents ranging from 200-300 pages, extracting complex information and ensuring accuracy in a high-volume environment. Your expertise in MS Office, Adobe, and document management will help manage litigation, pre- and post-settlement processes, case management payments, and other legal-related documentation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and experience reviewing depositions, medical records, employment records, etc…
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and manage documents ranging from 200-300 pages, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Process 10-15 documents per day while maintaining a high standard of attention to detail.
- Perform deposition reviews, focusing on litigation, pre- and post-settlement documentation.
- Manage case settlement payments and ensure accurate processing of payments related to legal cases.
- Use queue-based systems to prioritize and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Candidates must have their own Windows-based laptop/computer, dual monitor setup and access to high-speed internet to perform this role remotely.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in document review, as well as experience in the legal field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality while working with high volumes of documents.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Experience working within a queue-based system.
- Ability to manage large documents (200-300 pages) and process 10-15 documents daily.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Paralegal certificate or legal experience.
- Experience in case management, particularly related to litigation and settlement payments.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM EST.
