Our client, a growing consumer goods company that is a global market leader in its category, is seeking an eCommerce Sales and Demand Planning Analyst to join their eCommerce sales team. In this highly visible role, you will lead demand and sales planning activities for their eCommerce business, delivering accurate and timely demand forecasts and product sales trend analysis. Your primary objective is to maximize sales and service levels while minimizing inventory and obsolescence.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Maintain 18-month rolling forecasts by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Management teams using consumer sales data.
- Develop demand forecasts based on product releases, promotions, and advertising strategies to drive profitability across all brands.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to integrate customer plans and assess the impact of promotions and marketing campaigns.
- Communicate demand changes affecting inventory and service with Supply Planners and implement process improvements in demand planning.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Statistics, Analytics, or related field with at least 3 years of Demand Planning experience.
- Proficient in demand planning tools and advanced Excel; strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
- Experience working with sales and marketing teams; ability to work independently and collaboratively with a continuous improvement mindset.
- eCommerce experience a must
