Interim Accounting Manager

Location: King of Prussia, PA (Hybrid – 3-4 days in the office)
Duration: 3 months, with potential for extension or conversion
Start Date: ASAP (prior to mid-December)
Pay Rate: $50/hr+hour
Our client, rapidly growing PE owned company, is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to support their New England region for 3+ months. This role requires a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee month-end close process, including accruals, revenue recognition, and inventory tracking (warehouse and truck inventory estimated manually).
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial reporting
  • Maintain and enhance manual processes using Excel and SAGE Intacct.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally
  • Assist with supervising and reviewing work of accounting team members

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of experience with general ledger and month-end close processes.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in automated ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups from scratch).
  • Excellent proactive verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage remote stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior supervisory experience, with a focus on reviewing and checking the work of others.
  • Experience with SAGE Intacct is a plus.
