Interim Accounts Receivable Manager

Location: Fairfield, NJ
Duration: 6 Months (potential for extension or conversion)

Pay Rate: $50-60/HR

BrainWorks is seeking an Interim Accounts Receivable Manager for a fantastic client in Fairfield, NJ. The company is one of the top manufactures in the US for their product and it’s an exciting time to join the team. The newly hired CFO is a long time client of BrainWorks and he is an absolutely fantastic leader. This role will provide essential support to the new CFO and work to re-implement the existing ERP system and add-value through process improvements to the AR function. MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts receivable within a larger company, with at least 5 years of managing a team of 2+ direct reports.
  • Possess a management style that is hands-on, influential, and performance-driven.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability in client communication and decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in process improvement.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLookups.
  • Conduct analysis on clients, assessing their risk levels and identifying strategies to mitigate potential issues.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics.
