Interim Controller
Location: Onsite in Lafayette, CO
Hourly Rate: $80-90/HR
Duration: 3-6 Months (potential of extension and/or conversion)
We are actively working with an amazing company/brand in the food & beverage industry is looking to hire an Interim Controller to help lead the accounting team during a period of growth and transition. The Interim Controller will be responsible for a variety of general accounting functions including balance sheet ownership for month-end close and revenue accounting, as well as managing a team of four accountants. The ideal candidate has experience in a controls-based environment and in-depth GAAP experience.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in a controls-based environment with a month-end close process of 10 days or less
- Experience in a retail/wholesale environment with inventory and point-of-sale systems
- Demonstrated ownership of month-end close, team leadership/management, and monthly reporting
- Experience with Ekos (craft beverage software)
- Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and Lookups
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Public accounting experience
- CPA
- Experience with Inventory, Joint Venture or multi-entity accounting
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Experience in the manufacturing, food & beverage, and/or hospitality/restaurant industry
