Our client, an established company with a well-known brand, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the metro NY area who will successfully lead and motivate a team to increase market share, sales revenue, and profitability. This is a great opportunity for someone who is creative and forward thinking, with proven leadership skills to teach, develop and coach a sales team.

Responsibilities include:

• Hire, train, and retain an effective sales team
• Monitor progress and success of sales team by reviewing status of leads, appointments, and signings
• Work with team to ensure successful conversion of leads to appointments
• Assist in the development of annual sales and marketing budgets including sales goals
• Understand the competitive marketplace; assist in the planning and implementation of advertising activities including print, electronic and direct mail

Ideal candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in B2C sales, preferably in-home sales
• 3+ years in a sales management role, supervising a commissioned-based sales team
• 2-4 years of Marketing experience
• Strong negotiating, analytical, financial, and forecasting skills
• Proven record of setting and achieving performance objectives
