Our client is an interim management and business advisory firm that partners with stakeholders during periods of transition, underperformance or distress. Associates/Sr Associates will focus on all aspects of financial, operational and strategy engagements and should be prepared to work within a small, collaborative team environment to manage discrete work streams.

Description

  • Working directly with senior personnel (Managing Partner, Managing Director, Director and C-Suite) to develop comprehensive solutions to complex operational and financial challenges
  • Proficiency in financial modeling including ability to prepare three statement models, 13-week cash flows, dynamic key performance indicators (“KPIs”) packages and complex ad hoc analysis. Emphasis on the mastery of Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly develop transparent tools and models
  • Mastery of communicating analysis through Microsoft Word and PowerPoint including expert level presentation, formatting and quality control review
  • Preparing executive reporting packages including KPIs, financial performance, budget, board of director presentations, stakeholder presentations, etc.
  • Actively participate in various operational, financial and management meetings
  • Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate program
  • At least one year of investment banking, consulting, private equity or other formal financial modeling training at a reputable firm
  • Open to frequent travel and work at client site

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top undergraduate program
  • One to five years of experience in investment banking or consulting (operational, strategy or turnaround) – Years will determine Associate/Sr. Associate title
