As a Customer Sales – Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth. This individual contributor position entails building and nurturing a robust book of business. Your responsibilities will span lead sourcing, sales process management, capacity acquisition, and implementation of effective sales strategies to ensure service accountability. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of the industry’s service lines, possess strong sales and communication skills, and consistently collaborate with other teams and divisions within the company.

Responsibilities:

1.Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and grow relationships at multiple levels within customer and supplier organizations.
  • Use effective negotiation and sales strategies during solution pricing and selling discussions with customers.

2.Consultative Sales Approach:

  • Execute a consultative sales approach, offering innovative solutions to both new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with other departments to uncover opportunities for improved efficiencies and continuous improvement.

3.Market Awareness:

  • Stay informed about industry market trends, competition, products, services, and pricing.
  • Conduct consistent customer reviews to adapt to business and industry changes.

4.Exceptional Customer Experience:

  • Deliver a positive customer experience through proactive communication and timely responses.
  • Utilize CRM tools to organize and track business development activities.

5.Networking and Lead Generation:

  • Participate in networking events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services.
  • Actively contribute new leads and opportunities to the sales pipeline through existing relationships, cold calling, and innovative prospecting.

6.Proposal Preparation:

  • Prepare formal responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

7.Database Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM database regarding all sales contacts and accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 + years of experience in supply chain management or logistics.
  • Proven success in business development.
  • Strong negotiation skills and consultative selling approach.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt to changes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve company goals.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools.
