Overview of the Role
Pipeline is the lifeblood of growth. As our first SDR Manager, you’ll design and lead the team that fuels it. You’ll build a function from the ground up—recruiting talent, defining process, and creating a culture of hustle and curiosity to fuel our Outbound Sales motion. Your leadership will ensure that our client’s mission to transform workplace culture reaches more organizations, faster.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Building & Coaching
- Recruit, hire, and onboard a new team of SDRs, setting the tone for excellence.
- Provide ongoing coaching, roleplays, and skill development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, recognition, and celebration.
- Process Design & Execution
- Develop playbooks, cadences, and qualification frameworks that scale.
- Align with Marketing to ensure SDR outreach amplifies campaigns and ICP targeting.
- Performance Management
- Set ambitious but achievable KPIs and hold the team accountable.
- Track productivity and conversion metrics with precision.
- Personal Quota & Direct Selling
- Own an individual quota for qualified meetings and pipeline, actively prospecting and engaging with target accounts to set the example for your team.
- Leverage outbound tactics—calls, emails, social selling—to personally source opportunities, demonstrating best practices and maintaining firsthand market insight.
What You Bring
- 5–7 years in B2B SaaS sales development with 2+ years managing SDR teams.
- Proven record of building SDR functions from scratch.
- Experience carrying an individual quota and consistently exceeding personal targets.
- Exceptional coaching and motivational skills.
- Strong analytical ability to track conversion metrics and improve funnel health.
- High energy, resilience, and a love for celebrating wins.
- An entrepreneurial spirit—comfortable building, iterating, and improving at speed.
