Job Summary:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Senior Accountant to join our finance team on an interim basis with potential for long-term engagement. This is a high-impact role ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in dynamic environments and has a strong foundation in general ledger management, account reconciliation, and corporate close processes. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the monthly and quarterly close, preparing journal entries, reconciling bank and customer accounts, and assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany transactions, accruals, and treasury operations. Job Description:

  • Handles core accounting operations, including maintaining and updating the general ledger.
  • Prepares journal entries and performs account reconciliations to support both monthly and quarterly financial close cycles.
  • Manages invoice processing and initiates the creation of new accounts in the financial system.
  • Provides support across key finance functions such as receivables, payables, intercompany activity, accruals, and treasury operations.
  • Contributes to treasury planning efforts, including forecasting and liquidity tracking.
  • Performs regular bank reconciliations, confirms incoming deposits, and communicates with banking partners to resolve inquiries.
  • Oversees customer account reviews and leads efforts to collect outstanding balances.
  • Ensures accurate processing of vendor payments and proper allocation to relevant cost centers.
  • Assists external auditors by compiling financial data and documentation required for audit procedures.
  • Participates in the rollout of accounting policies and helps refine reconciliation workflows.
  • Takes on additional tasks and projects as directed by finance leadership.

Qualifications & Benefits:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger, financial close, and reconciliations.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
